Is Anybody Out There?

Here it is only  a few days later and I’m posting again – perhaps its the slow business thing again.  So far today I’ve snooped around “WordPress” to see if I can figure any of this Blogging stuff out.  At least that was free, that is until I got to the Domain Name stuff.  Yip, I bought one so the blog name could have just plain old “friendlyskipper.com” instead of “friendlyskipper.wordpress.com”.  All that for only twenty five bucks.  Yes sirree bob this blogging is a real money maker so far.

Well, the last time I sat down to this adventure it was almost a year ago.

Seems I haven’t gotten very far in the last year – that’s to bad considering business is still slow and there are still all those random thoughts bouncing around in my head.

Maybe the new iPad will help.

What with business being a little slow at the moment, finding myself thinking about other things to do to make a buck, an interest in writing that began quite a long time ago and having that interest sharpened after reading Brenda Ueland’s “If you want to  write”,  I thought I would see what would happen if I wrote.

Did I say  “other things to do to make a buck” and “what would happen if I wrote”?  That doesn’t make any sense!!

Oh well……………..
